Explosion-proof distribution box component names and functions

(Summary description)Air switch: It is an air circuit breaker. It makes, breaks and carries rated operating current and short circuit

Information

1. Air switch: It is an air circuit breaker. It makes, breaks and carries rated operating current and short circuit, overload and other fault currents in the circuit, and can quickly break when overload, short circuit, under voltage, etc. occur in the line and load. circuit for reliable protection. There are various designs of moving and static contacts and contact rods of circuit breakers, but improving the breaking capacity of the circuit breaker is the main purpose. At present, the current limiting principle of using a certain contact structure to limit the peak value of the short-circuit current during breaking has a significant effect on improving the breaking capacity of the circuit breaker and is widely used.

2. Leakage protection switch: It not only has the function of leakage protection, but it will trip when a person touches a live object to ensure personal safety. This is the main function of the leakage protector. If the electrical equipment is not well insulated and leaks to the shell, the leakage protector will also trip. Avoid human contact and electric shock. It also has current on-off function, overload protection and short circuit protection function.

3. Dual power automatic transfer switch: The dual power automatic transfer switch is a two-power automatic switching system. When the first channel fails, the dual power automatic transfer switch automatically switches to the second channel to supply power to the load. If the second channel fails, the dual power supply automatically switches. The transfer switch automatically switches to the * channel to supply power to the load.

4. Surge protector: A surge protector is an electronic device that provides safety protection for various electronic equipment, instruments, and communication lines. When a peak current or voltage suddenly occurs in an electrical circuit or communication line due to external interference, the surge protector can conduct and shunt the current in a very short time, thereby preventing the surge from damaging other equipment in the circuit.

5. Electricity meter: Working principle of the electric energy meter: When the electric energy meter is connected to the circuit, the magnetic flux generated by the voltage coil and the current coil passes through the disk. These magnetic fluxes are out of phase in time and space, and are on the disk respectively. The eddy current is induced due to the interaction between the magnetic flux and the eddy current, and a rotational torque is generated to rotate the disk. Due to the braking effect of the magnet, the rotation speed of the disk reaches a uniform motion. Since the magnetic flux is proportional to the voltage and current in the circuit, the disk rotates. Under its action, the disc moves at a speed proportional to the load current. The rotation of the disc is transmitted to the counter through the worm. The indication of the counter is the actual electric energy used in the circuit.

6. Ammeter: The ammeter is made according to the effect of the magnetic field force on the energized conductor in the magnetic field. When there is current passing through, the current passes through the magnetic field along the spring and the rotating shaft, and the current cuts the magnetic induction lines, so the coil is deflected by the force of the magnetic field, which drives the rotating shaft and pointer to deflect. Since the magnitude of the magnetic field force increases as the current increases, the magnitude of the current can be observed through the deflection of the pointer. This is called a magnetoelectric ammeter.

7. Voltmeter: A voltmeter is an instrument for measuring voltage. Commonly used voltmeter - voltmeter symbol: V. There is a permanent magnet in the sensitive ammeter, and a wire is connected in series between the two terminals of the ammeter. The coil is placed in the magnetic field of a permanent magnet and is connected to the hands of the watch through a transmission device. The voltmeter is a fairly large resistor, ideally thought of as an open circuit. The voltmeter is assembled with an ammeter. The internal resistance of the ammeter is very small, so if a large resistor is connected in series, it can be directly connected to the two points where the voltage needs to be measured. According to Ohm's law, we can know that the current displayed by the ammeter is proportional to to the external voltage, so the voltage can be measured.

The above are the most basic components in explosion-proof distribution boxes. In the actual production process, other components will be added according to the different uses of the distribution box and the requirements for the use of the distribution box, such as: AC contacts. relay, intermediate relay, time relay, button, signal indicator light, KNX intelligent switch module (with capacitive load) and background monitoring system, intelligent fire evacuation lighting and background monitoring system, electrical fire/leakage monitoring detector and background monitoring system, EPS power battery and so on.
